Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath urges people to follow COVID guidelines ahead of Holi

Lucknow, Mar 26: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that all precautionary steps should be taken to contain COVID 19, as festival season is approaching. He stressed on effective contact tracing and testing ahead of Holi. The Chief Minister also said effective vaccination of targeted groups will stop COVID infection.

While reviewing the COVID situation in state through video conferencing with All Division Commissioners, District Magistrates, Senior police officials and Officials of Health department on Mar 25, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that all possible steps to prevent and treat COVID 19 be taken in state.
 
 
He said that people will return to their homes on the occasion of Holi festival, which is why Corona testing at bus stands, Railway stations and airports will be effectively insured. The Chief Minister got the latest information from the district magistrates of Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Varanasi and instructed on the several lines.
 
 
 
 
During the last 24 hours, 836 new cases of COVID 19 were reported in the state and only 165 were cured. The most 237 new patients were found in Lucknow, 60 in Varanasi, 42 in Prayagraj and 39 in Ghaziabad.
