Pune, March 04: Now is the time we totally believe that 'Senior Congress leader' and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi is foolish as very well lablled by BJP MP Rakesh Sinha. On Tuesday night, while interacting with Kaushik Basu, professor of International Studies and Economics at Cornell University, Rahul Gandhi became a big challenge to meet for the gagsters who usually run out of concepts!

In an interview with Kaushik Basu, Rahul Gandhi blatantly alleged that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was attacking the higher education institutions in the country through their schools and likened them to madrasas used by radical Islamists in Pakistan. This brought a huge rage in reactions of several political leaders and authors to his remarks.

Ratan Sharda, columnist and author of the books 'The Sangh and Swaraj', 'RSS 360 degree', 'Secrets of RSS' said that Hindu value system never professed violence, never killed people and that it respects all faiths unlike Taliban education system. Further disagreeing Rahul Gandhi's analogy at Times Now India Upfront, Ratan ji said, "How can Gandhi even compare the two? Vidya Bharati schools go by the state boards, follow CBSE syllabus, use NCERT books and also they know the value system. Congress accuses RSS of being funded by shady people. For past 60 years when the Congress was in rule, it had every possible opportunity to audit the RSS accounts and that they never could prove a single evidence against the organisation. P Chidambaram had earlier said that RSS preaches terrorism, but never could give a but of evidence".

"Rahul Gandhi comparing RSS schools is the most stupid statement I've ever heard. Taliban tells you that there is no other religion except Islam, it tells you that anyone who doesn't believe in Islam has to be killed or converted or considered as a second class citizen. On the other side, Hindu philosopy respects all the faiths and that is what RSS is all about. RSS schools are run by trusts who get their accound audited. While RSS inspired schools began in 1950, Rahul's great grandfather Nehru ji extended full freedom to Christian missionaries to run schools and convert tribals in Northeast. Church was and is behind nearly all insurgencies in Northeast", he added.

He also mentioned that Rahul Gandhi had some serious issues with his leadership. Meanwhile, VHP's Alok Kumar also furiously criticized Rahul's comment and stated, "Rahul Gandhi has compared the Sarasvati Shishu Mandirs with the terrorist-producing Madrassas in Pakistan. The statement is dishonest and false. Sarasvati Shishu Mandirs provide quality education to millions of Indian children all over the country. They provide an education that instills in them respect for the country, a good human value system, makes them responsible citizens, and equips them with the knowledge that they can use for a good life. It is for this reason that they are preferred over the govt or costly public schools. "

Kumar added, "I am surprised that Rahul Gandhi is in the habit of making statements that only please the Pakistanis or the Chinese and are against the national interest. Such irresponsible statements are the reasons for the continuing decline of the Congress party. I condemn the statement."

Rahul Gandhi's remarks are indeed an insult to the Indian people and also he has legitimized Pakistan jihad with his statement. He just has created a controversy to stay in news it seems. Also, there is a serious crisis in Congress party as 23 its leaders (referring to the G23) are criticizing Congress. May be to divert from such a thing Gandhi fought a chance do this?
