Thiruvananthapuram, April 03:  Ahead of the Kerala state election, Mollywood superstar made Mohanlal made an impressive move in the favor of BJP. Releasing a video on social media, legendary actor has endorsed the candidature of Metroman E Sreedharan and wished him all the best in the elections.

In a video message, Mohanlal lauded the achievements of Sreedharan and said that his services are still needed to lead the country into the future. Mohanlal further added that it was Sreedharan's 'willpower' that resulted in the rebuilding of the Pamban Bridge that was damaged in the storm in 46 days.
 
Padma Bhushan awardee further continues praising the Metro Man saying that Sreedharan was the architect, who led the construction of metro rails in major cities of India including Delhi and Kochi. At a time when the world thought it was an ímpossible feat', Sreedharan made the Konkan Railway a reality.
 
At the end of the video, he further appeals to the voters of Kerala and said, that they still need his guidance to lead the county on a new path. He said, "We still need his services to lead the country on new paths of development and I wish all the best to Sreedharan Sir.”
 
Reacting to the video Metro Man thanked the actor for his gesture. Sharing the video he tweeted, "Thank you @Mohanlal for the kind gesture and good wishes. Your contribution to the film is highly commendable. Together we can build a new Kerala."
 
 
His support can bring a major major twist to the Kerala state election. This was whooping video has raised many eyebrows. It was surprising for everyone as Mollywood actors do not openly support any political party. This was the first time that some actor from the Mollywood industry openly backed any party's leader. This will surely throw impact on the upcoming election
 
Sreedharan contesting in the 2021 Assembly elections from the Palakkad constituency. He will take on sitting Congress MLA Shafi Parambil in Palakkad in the April 6 polls.
