New Delhi, April 6: It seems as business tycoon Anand Mahindra believes in what you receive you ought to give it back to nature in some or another way. It is because he has always been persistent to motivate the people who have their own way to serve the nation. This comes as he is fulfilling his promise given to the young cricketers and 'Idli Amma'.

Mahindra promised to invest in the idli shop of the Tamil Nadu woman who sold the South Indian staple food for just Rs 1 even during the lockdown. Known as 'Idli Amma', K Kamalathal went viral on social media and became a household name after it was discovered that she was selling idlis with sambhar and chutney at Rs 1 for over three decades now. People were extremely impressed by her dedication to feed the poor and that is when Anand Mahindra shared her story on Twitter.
 
 
Following Mahindra’s viral tweet, Bharat Gas Coimbatore offered Idli Amma a new LPG connection. Now, the business tycoon has bought her a new home.
 
 
Prior to this, On January 23, Anand Mahindra had promised to gift SUVs to Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj, T Natarajan, Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur for their amazing performances in India's famous Test series in Australia. The series had witnessed many youngsters stepping up to the big stage and performing.
 
Siraj, T Natarajan, and Thakur, now have already recevied Mahindra Thar SUV. Siraj expressing his gratitude said, Words fail me at this moment. There is nothing I can say or do that will adequately express how I feel about your beautiful gift. For now, I’ll just say a big fat thank you."
 
Besides Natarajan after receiving SUV wrote, "As I drive the Mahindra Thar today, I feel immense gratitude towards Anand Mahindra for recognizing my journey & for his appreciation."
 
 
The recent cricketer to receive was Thakur who said, "New Mahindra Thar has arrived!! @MahindraRise has built an absolute beast & I’m so happy to drive this SUV. A gesture that youth of our nation will look upto. Thank you once again Shri @anandmahindra ji, @pakwakankar ji for recognising our contribution on the tour of Australia."
 
 
The 2020 Thar SUV was launched on October 2 last year and also passed the safety crash test conducted by global safety rating agency Global NCAP with four-star ratings.
