TMC is losing the plot? No one is voting for them in Arambagh AC, says Malviya

Kolkata, April 06: While the third phase of West Bengal State Elections is underway, clashes have seemed to be broken between TMC and BJP workers in Arambagh of West Bengal on Tuesday after TMC leader Sujata Mondal alleged that some mask clad men threw bricks at her.

"In Arandi-I area here, we've minority and SC voters who love Mamata Banerjee," said TMC candidate Sujata Mondal further alleging that BJP workers had attacked her. Sujata Mondal also added, "Situation is fine at many places but not okay where we're strong. At booth 45, people voted for TMC but it's going to BJP. In Arandi-II, our workers were beaten up. Central Forces are also not neutral. They're telling people to vote for BJP", she added.

Meanwhile Amit Malviya tweeted an image of vacant polling station saying that despite of all the desperation, TMC was losing the plot. "No one is voting for them in Arambagh AC", he said.
 
 
The election battle for the eastern state is getting intense with each passing day as political parties in West Bengal are leaving no stone unturned in a bid to make their presence felt ahead of the third phase of the Assembly polls today. A total of 31 Assembly constituencies, including eight in Hooghly, seven in Howrah and 16 in South 24 Parganas, going to polls in Phase-III today. Polling for the first two phases of the West Bengal polls was held on March 27 and April 1, respectively. The counting of votes will take place on May 2.
 
 
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has decided to deploy 618 companies of central forces in the third phase as the state is witnessing a high-octane triangular contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Congress-Left alliance.
