The named TMC leaders were supposedly involved in creating violence in the Hindu Para, Hiyatpur area, Arandi 2 GP, under Arambagh police station in Hoogly Rural District of West Bengal. "The Commission desires that an inquiry into this incident of violence should be conducted by lodging an FIR forthwith and the safety and security of the families and children in the area must be ensured", the statement read.

Further the NCPCR has also demanded the statements be recorded of the affected families and children in a child friendly manner and be made available to NCPCR by the Special Juvenile Police Officers. 'Suitable disciplinary action against them is must', the statement added.

Earlier, the Commission had directed an FIR against the All India Trinamool Congress leader SK Sahajahan and West Bengal Police OC Shubra Sanyal under Juvenile Justice Act for attack, molestation and destruction of whole village and traumatizing the kids. NCPCR is a statutory body constituted under Section 3 of the Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CPCR) Act, 2005 to protect the child rights and other related matters in India.
