New Delhi, May 28: Remembering the Indian freedom fighter Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar on his birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to freedom fighters on Twitter. Prime Minister called Savarkar a great freedom fighter and a fierce nationalist.
"My tribute to Veer Savarkar, a great freedom fighter and fierce nationalist, on his birth anniversary," PM Modi tweeted in Hindi.
Apart from PM Modi, other BJP leaders including Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also paid tribute to revolutionary freedom fighters.
