Positivity inspired people to fight against corona pandemic- Arif Mohd Khan

He was delivering the inaugural address of the three-day positivity campaign organized jointly by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), Hindustan First-Hindustani Best and Bharat First on the first day today. MRM Patron and Guide Dr. Indresh Kumar was conspicuous by his presence. The other speakers who disseminated the message of positivity today included President of Christian Rashtriya Manch Tom Vadakkan, Sayyad Shah Khusro Husaini Sahab, Khwaja Banda Garib Nawaz, Gulbarga, and famous cancer specialist Dr. Majid AliTalikoti. Mohd. Afzal, MRM National Convener, compeered the proceedings.

Governor Khan said that people of India gracefully contributed to defeating the corona virus not only in India but in the entire world. He said that the doctors, nurses and sanitation workers risked their lives to serve the corona patients. They did not lag behind and offered their selfless services to save the life of the people with dedication and commitment. Our cultural heritage has an important role in shaping the mind set of our people and inspiring them to dedicate for the selfless public service, he said.

We believe that service to man is service to God (मानव सेवा ही माधव सेवा हैं), the Kerala Governor said quoting Sanskrit verses. He said that those who served the corona patients did their duty as they realized the inherent unity with them. Today the entire world has come to realize that poverty is threat to security and pandemic is threat to global health.

The world today is reduced as a ‘global village’ and the movement of such pandemic is faster than we imagined. This made the world interdependent requiring us to cooperate, coordinate and share our sorrow and happiness with each other to lead a happy and peaceful life. For a successful life money, knowledge or popular support are not enough but love is the only ingredient that makes our life happy, the learned Governor said.

Quoting ‘Hadise Utsi’, he underlined that in the Islamic tradition also this concept of spiritual oneness ‘Serve Man Serve God’ is very well explained. But this is ingrained in Bharat’s tradition, he said. It is said in our tradition that the weak does not realize the ‘atman’ (नायमात्मा बलहीनेन लभ्यः) and remaining healthy is the ‘Dharma’ (शरीरमाद्यम खलु धर्मसाधनम). It is necessary to be healthy to perform religious rituals. The knowledge of ‘Atman’ is the only life goal of Indian traditions and those who are not healthy cannot gain that knowledge.

Congratulating the organizers of the program he appealed to the people to take initiative along with the central and the state governments in this war against the virus and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

He explained how these politicians played dirty politics on corona vaccines and leveled various allegations against the Prime Minister and other ministers. He said that the people have dismissed these politicians and believed in our government. Our Prime Minister is a ‘Karmayogi’ he said.

We are all Hindustani first and then Christians or Muslims, he said appealing to the people to exhibit this unity in dealing with corona pandemic. Developing corona vaccine in so short a period is the success of India and the infrastructure is also being developed so that the nation can defeat the pandemic.

Warning those politicians and leaders who are opposing the vaccination program of the government he said “you cannot play with the health of the people and health of this nation. Let the government work towards health safety and security of people’s life.

Sayyad Shah Khusro Hussaini Sahab of Khwaja Banda Nawaz, Gulbarga, Karnataka, said that there is no reason to have fear of corona virus but there is a need to religiously follow the corona protocol laid down by the government. These corona protocols are nominal and easy to follow such as wearing masks, using sanitizers, washing hands and keeping safe distance, he said.

He said even Islam too has give similar kind of instruction to its followers during the period of the Prophet when such a pandemic had attacked. These are all for our safety and health. If we are healthy our nation will also be healthy and a healthy nation can alone defend itself and others. The government is spending millions on the health of people, he said.

He emphasized that all should take the vaccine dose as there is no threat. In my family all have been vaccinated, he said appealing the people not to believe in rumors. All Indians should unite to end this pandemic, he said. The government has done what was needed and now it is our turn to work for safety and security of our people and nation, he said appealing all ‘Hindustanis’ to unite in fight against this corona pandemic.

Famous cancer specialist of the country Dr. Majid Ali Talikoti in his message said that though we follow different religions we are all one as no religion teaches us hatred towards the other. We are all working for strong and prosperous India that would be leading the world and humanity as a ‘Vishwaguru’. For this we need to work towards ‘Healthy India’, he said underlining the fact that India is the only land in the world that has given this message of brotherhood and love to the world.

He said that the corona virus came from China’s Wuhan in December 2019 and so far it has taken a toll of 40 lakh lives world over. Fortunately in India the death rate is less than the global average of 2%. Our government and people are prepared to combat with this pandemic.

He also stressed on getting vaccinated. This is safe and necessary. We must remove all the doubts, misgivings and doubts we have in our minds, he said adding that the vaccine is for all. When we are moving to becoming a world leader it is necessary that we concentrate on health. We have to defeat the corona virus and vaccine is the best weapon to defeat this attack of the Chinese bio-weapon, he said.

Referring to vaccine shortage, he said that the government is taking necessary steps to increase the production of the vaccine and even importing the vaccines from other countries. The government is trying to save each and every citizen of the country.

He appealed to the people to follow the covid-19 protocols and don’t get swayed by the misleading propaganda of the opposition parties. The government is trying to develop the health infrastructure so that we can easily defeat the third wave as and when it comes.

He appealed to the people not to get panicky due to pandemic. We can defeat the virus provided we remain positive towards life and stay away from depression. Be in touch with your family and friends to keep the depression at bay, he said.
