Six people booked for converting Sikh widow, minor sons to Islam in Rampur, UP

Conversion of Religions in India is no new now though henious! In yet another shocking incident in Rampur village in Uttar Pradesh, six people have been booked for forcefully converting Sikh widow and her minor sons to Islam. "The sons were circumcised", as posted by author Amaan Baali on Twitter on Thursday.

 

 

The Kashmiri author who is coming up with a book 'Growing up on the right side of Kashmir history', further said that the danger looms on the Sikh community in Rampur as it has small Sikh population that is unheard and poor. "This be a gentle reminder that Sikh battles are not just against RSS. Sikh narratives need to be free of popular waves of anger", he tweeted demanding strict action against the criminals.

 

 

This is the second time such a henious thing has happened in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. Earlier on June 14, 2021 ASP Rampur, Sansar Singh had lodged FIR against 3 for allegedly converting a woman's religion "A woman's religion was converted in a village in Shahabad by luring her. Accused brough her from outside the village. An FIR has been registered in the matter", Singh had told to the news agency.
