Delhi Police arrests ISI spy from Pokhran

New Delhi, July 15: In a very shocking development, the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police on Tuesday arrested one person for allegedly spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency 'Inter-Services Intelligence'. Crime branch police held the 34-year-old man from Pokhran, Rajasthan.

Based on inputs shared by the intelligence unit, the Delhi Police's crime branch team apprehended the suspect on Tuesday from Pokhran, a senior police officer said.
 
 
The detained accused was identified as the Habib Khan. He used to supply vegetables to the Indian army for a long time. According to police, he was indirectly involved with Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI.
 
 
 
Police believed that he used to collect crucial information about the Indian army and leak it to Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI.  Delhi police have brought him to Delhi, a day after being taken into custody. A team of Delhi Police and Intelligence Bureau are currently interrogating him.
 
 
On Sunday, UP Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) arrested two terrorists of the Al-Qaeda-linked Ansar Ghazwatul Hind — Minhaz Ahmed and Musheeruddin. The ATS had claimed that they were planning explosions, including using 'human bombs' at several places in Uttar Pradesh.
