Lahore, July 05: In an attempt to display itself as the victim in front of the world, Pakistan's national security advisor has come up with a ridiculous theory that claimed that Indian intelligent agency RAW was the mastermind behind the last month’s deadly car bombing in Lahore.

During the press conference National Security Advisor Dr. Moeed Yusuf tried to shift the blame on India and said that the initial probe has suggested that an Indian national, who belongs to the Indian intelligence agency RAW was behind the blast. Citing the evidence, Dr. Moeed Yousf claimed that the mastermind and handlers of the blast have been identified through forensic analysis of the electronic equipment recovered from the terrorists involved in the incident.

Ghani, the Punjab police chief, claimed that the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) had apprehended the main perpetrators behind the attack, as well as their facilitators. The “lynchpin” who connects the attack with people outside Pakistan, was a man called Peter Paul David, he claimed.

Dr. Moeed Yusuf urged the international community to stop turning a blind eye towards India's illegal actions and play its legally binding role for the safety of 'innocent Pakistanis' if it believes in peace and stability in this region.

Hours after the press conference, Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the agency for probing in the case in which terror attack was conducted on the terrorist and Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed house. It should be noted that he was the mastermind behind the Mumbai terror attack. Hafiz Saeed is designated a terrorist by the US Justice Department and has a US$10 million bounty on his head. The blast took place at a police picket outside Saeed's residence at the BOR Society in Jauhar Town.

Imran Khan also has termed the attack on Saeed house as a heinous terror attack. He has even gone forward and asked the “global community” to “mobilise international institutions against this rogue behavior”.

Their accusation comes at the time when Security agencies suspected the role of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in the twin drone-driven blasts on the Indian Air Force’s technical airport in Jammu on June 27.
