"To those who carried out this attack...know this: We will not forgive. We will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay," Biden said. He vowed to continue the evacuation of Americans. Two suicide bombers and gunmen attacked crowds of Afghans flocking to Kabul's airport on Thursday, killing at least 73 Afghans and 13 US troops.

Giving the clean chit to the Taliban terrorist, Biden said ISIS-K was behind the gruesome attack at the Hamid Karzai International Airport and there was no evidence they colluded with the Taliban.

The President said, the US has "some reason to believe" the US knows the identities of the ISIS leaders who ordered the attacks. "We will find ways of our choosing, without large military operations, to get them - wherever they are." He said he had instructed military commanders to develop plans to strike IS “assets, leadership, and facilities.”

He asserted that the US is determined to continue with its mission to evacuate American nationals from Kabul and complete the mission by August 31. Biden said U.S. military commanders in Afghanistan have told him it is important to complete the evacuation mission. “And we will,” he said, adding, “We will not be deterred by terrorists. We will not let them stop our mission.”

According to Biden, more than 100,000 people have been evacuated from Afghanistan.
