Mumbai, Sept 2: With an aim to discuss the burning issue of the Maratha reservation in Maharashtra, the all-party delegation will hold a meeting with President Ramnath Kovind on Thursday at 4.30 in the afternoon.

After SC’s final decision on the issue of Maratha Reservation, this is the first time that an all-party delegation is to meet the highest-ranking official that is the President of India on Thursday. The delegation first seeks a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi but could not get the appointment.
 
The delegation consists of members from all 4 major parties including Shivsena’s Vinayak Raut, NCP’s Vandana Chavhan, BJP’s Ranjitsingh Naik Nimbalkar, and INC’s Sangram Thopte. The delegation is set to lead by Chhatrapati Sambhaji himself as he was the one who asked all parties to unite to fight for the reservation of the Maratha community after the decision of the Supreme Court’s final decision.
