Why can't PM Modi praise Gandhi ji on international platform? Congress must explain-

If you don't honor there's a problem, obvioulsy! But have you ever faced any problem for honoring somebody? Well, this is the oldest political party's, Indian National Congress' problem. They know just to target the ruling BJP and PM Modi, no matter what. In yet another such incident, while PM Modi is in USA, the Congress has raised concern about PM Modi not praising Veer Savarkar but praising Gandhiji on international platforms.

 

 

Gaurav Pandhi of Indian National Congress happened to share a video of PM Modi and US President Joe Biden while in the USA. PM Modi was seen hailing the nationwide known 'Father of the Nation' Mahatma Gandhi' ahead of his birth anniversary. Pandhi in his tweet accused the BJP of not talking about Veer Savarkar and Nathuram Godse and talking Gandhiji when on foreign visits.

 

"Can anyone from the RSS-BJP ecosystem and their supporters explain why Modi always talk about Gandhi and not his assassins (& your hero) Savarkar or Godse when visiting foreign nations?", he flagrantly asked. Gaurav Pandhi, who has more than 185k followers on Twitter, first of all should have shown respect towards Gandhiji himself by explaining why can't Indian Prime Minister talk about 'Father of the Nation' on the international platforms? Has he no respect for the positions?

 

 

During his first-ever bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, US President Joe Biden mentioned Gandhi Jayanti. To this, PM Modi said that Gandhi ji's concept of trusteeship was 'important for our planet in the times to come.' The two world leaders also spoke about issues related to the Covid-19 pandemic, climate change and Quad. PM Modi said that Friday's bilateral meeting presented him and President Biden the time and opportunity to discuss the matters in detail. 

 

Congress has never had respect for Veer Savarkar. Last year, in 2020, a controversial booklet on Veer Savarkar named- 'Veer Savarkar Kitne Veer’(how brave was ‘brave Savarkar’)' was distributed at the Congress Seva Dal in Bhopal. The book alleged defamatory remarks about Savarkar’s sexual orientation and his role in the freedom struggle.

 

 

The Congress by now should know the reality as it was former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who had praised the patriotism of Veer Savarkar. The present Congress belongs to Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra who are to soon adopt Hindu cultrue and traditions for votes ahead of the UP elections. No far is the day when today's INC, Gaurav Pandhi will be seen praising Veer Savarkar!
