Javed Akhtar is at it again! Compares RSS with Taliban, says 'People who support RSS, VHP have Taliban mentality'

Bollywood's controversial king, lyricist Javed Akhtar who always spills venom against Hindus, has once again uttered nonsense about the Hindus and RSS. This time while talking to the private media house, he compared Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh RSS to terror outfit Taliban and said that those supporting it should introspect.

 

 

During the interview when the journalist asked him about the Right-wing, intellectual Akhtar said, "Ironically, the right-wing use this to promote themselves to become the same as what they are opposing - that is an interesting observation".

 

 

Akhtar said that organizations like RSS, VHP, and Bajrang Dal also have the same objective as the Taliban. He said, “Whether it is Muslim right-wing, Christian right-wing, or Hindu right-wing, there is a commonality among them all over the world. What the Taliban wants is to create an Islamic country. These people are trying to create a Hindu state. They say that one cannot accept what is different from tradition. These people also want that no boy and girl should go to the park together. The only difference is that these Taliban have not become so powerful yet. But their motive is the same as that of the Taliban”

 

 

 

While further continuing his rant, Akhtar said, "It’s a kind of full dress rehearsal of becoming a full-fledged Taliban. They are adopting Taliban antics. They are the same people, only the name is different. The Constitution of India is coming in between their goals and theirs, but if given a chance, they will cross this boundary."

 

He further uttered, “There are people in India also who are going in the direction of Taliban. Their purpose is also the same. Women should not use mobile phones, Anti-Romeo Brigade… is in that direction. I see a lot of similarities between the Taliban and those who want to be like the Taliban."

 

He said, “Those who support organizations like RSS and Bajrang Dal need to do some introspection. How are they any different from them (Taliban)?”

 

He also compared RSS, VHP with Nazi saying they have the same ideology that of the Nazis of the 1930s. He said, "India is a secular nation and the people, the population is largely secular, but there are those who support organizations like the RSS and VHP and people like Golwalkar, etc, who have the same ideology that of the Nazis of the 1930s."
