Jalore, Sept 9: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, and Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat attended a program held on the occasion of the inauguration of Emergency Field Landing at the National Highway in Jalore, Rajasthan.
This field is one of the first of many proposed emergency landing strips that are being made in assistance to the Indian Airforce in dire situations like war.
This feat came after Minister Nitin Gadkari said while putting forth his plans to construct these types of runways back in Budget2020 along with border areas as a part of strengthening the border infrastructure and making it easy to supply support along with the goods to the military troops in border areas.

Sukhoi Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft and similar aircraft. these are going to be the key player in a head-on confrontation against border conflicts with Pakistan in situations where our troops going to need urgent air assistance.
