Atrocious! Minor specially-abled girl raped in Rajasthan, left bleeding near flyover

Alwar (Rajasthan), Jan 12: In yet another heinous crime against minor girls, a teenager was raped, tortured, and left to die at a dark and isolated spot near a flyover in Rajasthan’s Alwar city on Tuesday night.

 

The villagers passing by found the semi-conscious girl of around 15 years bleeding profusely and called police, reports Rajendra Sharma. She was initially treated at a government hospital in Alwar. “The girl is in a critical condition... ,” said Alwar SP Tejaswini Gautam.

 

The SP added that the unidentified girl was found in distressed state. "The girl is not mentally stable and she is admitted to ICU. She was found near Tijara Fatak and it is suspected that she was raped," Gautam was quoted as saying. She said efforts are on to ascertain her identity. The SP and other senior officers are at the spot.

 

 

According to some reports, the girl is said to be speech and hearing. The Alwar SP informed that she is in critical condition and was bleeding profusely on arrival. In details, the atrocious crime was reported around 8 PM on Tuesday near the Tijara Fatak flyover in Alwar when the girl was found lying in an isolated area after which the locals informed the Rajasthan police control room.

Incidents of sexual assault in Rajasthan

Incidents of sexual assault towards minors are nothing short of disturbing and continue to surface from parts of the country. However, such cases has been increasing in Rajasthan. Earlier in December, a 15-year-old minor was raped in Rajasthan's Dholpur city followed by another rape of a 17-year-old girl who later committed suicide by hanging herself in her house in Rajasthan's Barmer. A suicide note was also recovered from the victim who took the extreme step after being threatened and defamed by the accused who raped her.
