It should be mentioned that the Jinnah Tower is named after the father of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The video of the incident is making the rounds on social media sites. According to the reports, some people tried to climb the Jinnah tower in a bid to unfurl the flag. However, the Guntur police foiled their bid and arrested people. In the video, the police are seen using force against the Hindu Vahini members.

It is now learned that the police have increased the security cover to the tower and have added a fence to prevent anyone from entering the tower. Ironically, on one side 102-year-old Bhagwan Ram Temple is being demolished in Tenali town of Guntur district, while on another side a 76 old-year-old structure built in the honour of Jinnah who is the founder of Pakistan is being protected by the government.
