Chennai, October 15: Taking a jibe at former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Bharatiya Janata Party leader CT Ravi said that people like him will always remain unemployed.
He passed this remarks while prasing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, "Under PM Modi’s leadership 84 crore people have received free ration for 3 years & he has played a major role in saving our economy... People like Rahul Gandhi will always remain unemployed, they will never get employed in this country."
Ravi further attacked the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is currently in Karnataka, saying it will not help the former Congress chief “to relaunch himself.”
“Inflation has risen due to COVID-19 and Ukraine-Russia. For 20 years, people have seen Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. Congress has lost all the states under his leadership. He will not be able to relaunch himself through Bharat Jodo Yatra, he must try some other country.”
The 3500 kilometres yatra will reach a milestone on Saturday covering 1000 kilometres.
The yatra, which was launched on September 7 from Kanyakumari -- the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent, will reach this milestone (1000 kilometres) when it reaches the outskirts of Karnataka’s Ballari district, the party said in its release.
