Hyderabad, November 19: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Shambipur Raju has threatened BJP MP Arvind Dharampuri, saying that he would cut his tongue over his comments on Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao and his daughter K Kavitha Kalvakuntla.
Arvind Dharampuri had claimed that BRS MLC Kavitha was trying to join the Congress as she was unhappy in BRS, formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He had made the comments after the CM claimed that the BJP was trying to lure Kavitha.
Lashing out at the BJP MP, Shambipur Raju said, "I will cut the tongue of Arvind Dharmapuri if he has forgotten his political values and speaks disrespectfully against Chief Minister KCR."
"Just because he speaks about big people, he thinks he will also become a big person. Being a BJP leader, you are saying you got a call from someone from Congress saying Kavitha called them. Aren't you ashamed? You are telling you to belong to one party and openly saying you are in touch with other party people?," the BRS MLC said, hitting out at the BJP MP.
"You and your father keep changing parties, but have you done anything decent for the public? We are warning you. If one more time you say anything disrespectful against our CM KCR or MLC Kavitha, we will cut your tongue. Be Careful," he said further.
The remarks of the BRS MLC came after BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri filed an additional complaint against Kavitha after his home was vandalised allegedly by the BRS cadre in Hyderabad on Friday.
The additional complaint was followed by the verbal spat that erupted between the BJP MP and BRS MLC after the former's house was attacked. A case has been registered against 50 TRS workers for vandalising the house of BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri on Friday in Hyderabad.
Dharmapuri, taking a jibe at Kavitha, had said that she was speaking with so much ego and pride and that KCR, KTR, and Kavitha had unnecessary and over-the-top pride and ego.
