Where do we really stand on this question? I will not emphasize whether one or both the spouses are working. Question is how much appreciation you are providing to your life partner and how you value this relationship and how much you contribute to this relationship?

Are You Fan of Your Wife? - What an interesting question or embarrassing too (for few). I have a very interesting narration on this. I was in a group of executives delivering a presentation on family life. Suddenly, I asked the question “How many of you are fan of your wife?”.
There was pin drop silence as if I have dropped a bombshell. Ladies too were aghast? So just to balance the question I asked the ladies “how many of you are fans of your husbands?”.
Should I disclose the results? Out of 21, four raised the hands; two said they really don’t know, one said that after the presentation he will try to become one. I realized that some of them were too shy to accept this. Some probably thought that it was a too personal question? Out of the six ladies present, one accepted that she is the fan of her husband; she was very positive and emphatic about it.
I am very sure we cannot draw any conclusion out of this exercise and that, in any case is not the objective of this narration.

This single factor is the most important determinant to your leading a happy and successful life. I assure success will follow happiness and not vice versa.
Well, I am not going to judge for you. In your personal or reference circle, how many of all those who have led excellent family life could make it higher in life? You will find not a single gentleman making it higher in life without happy and successful family life.
What if you are fan of your wife or other way around? Your road becomes smooth and it becomes so easy to realize your potential because each day starts on a good happy note driven by dopamine and oxytocin. You require high hormonal support in high pressure jobs to counter cortisol. As it is, once you come out of your home, you are protected by body armour provided by your better half. Excellent proposition indeed.
In the lighter vein, you save yourself from extra marital affairs and associated pit falls. Body integrity is guaranteed.
