Mumbai, February 25: Bhartiya Janata Party leader Kirit Somaiya recently commented on the Nawab Malik issue, saying that it's a start & other 'dirty dozen ghotalebaaz' of Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackrey will soon go to jail. His remark comes a day after the arrest of Nawab Malik.
Malik is arrested in a money laundering case connected to fugitive Dawood Ibrahim. Somaiya also added some other names which he thinks will land up in jail with 'Nawab Malik & Anil Deshmukh.'
Somaiya alleged that Nawab Malik and his son-in-law have connections with Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parker and a drug syndicate.
He also questioned Thackeray over his family owning 19 bungalows in Korlai in Raigad district. “Two of them Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik are already behind the bars….the Dirty Dozen of Uddhav Thackeray would be behind the bars soon,” he said.
Among the leaders, he counted NCP founder-president Sharad Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar. The list includes Anil Parab, Sanjay Raut, Sujeet Patker, Bhavna Gavali, Anand Adsul, Ajit Pawar, Hasan Mushriff, Pratap Sarnaik, Ravindra Waikar, Jitendra Awhad, Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik. He added more names to this : those of Yashwant and Yamini Jadhav and Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar, alleging them as fraudsters.
Also exposing the Shiv Sena Corporator Yashwant Jadhav, he said that created several fake or shell companies specifically to loot the public money. He swindled crores by diverting huge amounts through these fake companies.
Somaiya in the series of tweets further added that Jadhav parked Rs 15 crores in one of his bogus companies named Pradhan Dealers through the Hawala operator Uday Shankar Mahavar. The money was then sent to UAE and routed to Jadhav’s family member’s accounts.
