Ranchi, Mar 26: In yet another development, 61 tribal Christin families of Vanvasi (tribal) Samaj were converted back to Hinduism under Gharwapsi in Jharkhand’s Sahibganj district. Initially, they were converted to Christianity by Christian missionaries.
Reports suggest that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Department Minister Kalicharan Mandal had organised a program for the return of these 61 Sarna tribal families in the Sahibganj district.
A week ago 181 tribal community members were converted back to their Sarna religion in different villages of Jharkhand’s Garhwa district.
