Rajnath Singh meets US aerospace and defence giants, asks to explore manufacturing in India

It should be noted that Rajnath Singh arrived in Washington DC on Sunday as part of his five-day US visit during which he will take part in the fourth India-US 2 2 Ministerial Dialogue. He will be staying in the country from April 10 till April 15 and will hold talks with the US leadership on deepening the India-US strategic partnership.

Washington DC, April 11: Ahead of the India-US 2+2 Dialogue, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met the U.S aerospace and defence giants Boeing and Raytheon, soon after reaching Washington DC. During the meeting, he spoke about major policy initiatives in India.

The Ministry of Defence gave the information about the meeting via social media platforms. Singh also informed that he exhorted the companies to take advantage of policy initiatives in India for steadily shifting from ' Make In India' towards 'Make for the World.'
 
Sharing the picture, Ministry tweeted, "Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh met with the U.S. aerospace & defence majors Boeing and Raytheon after reaching Washington DC. He exhorted the companies to take advantage of policy initiatives in India to steadily march from ‘Make in India’ towards ‘Make for the World’.

India and US will also ink an agreement on space cooperation during the 2+2 meeting in Washington, beginning on April 11.
