I have been a binge-watcher of such a web series. Web series which make you smile, laugh, feel happy, forget your problems and make you feel relatable. Gullak is one such web series, that will bring joy in your day-to-day quite hectic and sometimes boring life. Much Awaited third season of Gullak is here on Sony Live OTT Platform. A story of a middle-class family, which is made of small small incidents, As the Gullak (Piggybank), says in the introduction, This story is made of so many “Kisse” of this Mishra Family. This journey started 3 years back and with the third season, we are getting more and more involved in this web series. About Annu Mishra…! Keep Reading…!

Gullak

As rightly described by one of the viewers, this web series is like a Warm Hug, a Cozy quilt made by the saree of your grandmother, it is like an ice gola that you enjoy in the hot summers and like a Kadak Adrak wali chai that you enjoy in the chilliest winters. Now you get it, what kind of feelings does this web series bring to your heart? Season three is no less than a joy of Season’s first AAM RAS.

So in the last two seasons, we have seen the family and their bond. Their bond with their neighbor “Bittu Ki Mammi” and their equations with each other. Where the elder son Annu couldn’t pass his government entrance exam in the first season and tried to enter into the politics in the second one, in the third season you will see a huge difference in his character. From being an irresponsible young man to becoming a responsible “Ghar ka Bada Beta” Annu Mishra grew up in the third season. In this season he takes care of his family, pays his brother’s school fees and father’s hospital bills you will see the growth of this character, and that makes you extremely happy. This beautiful character is played by Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and he has done justice to the character to the core.

While the humor remains the same hilarious, you will see some more indirect messages through the content of the third season. One of the episodes shows how even in today’s day and time it is difficult for girls to settle for an arranged marriage where they had a doubt from the beginning. The dialogues are written beautifully like always and they will stay with you for a longer time.

Geetanjali Kulkarni as the leading lady of Mishra Pariwar and Mom to Annu and Aman, as always gave us the 500% entertainment and human emotions together. The emotional connection that this character brings out is extremely beautiful. In one of the episodes when there were guests at Mishra Family’s place, The bond that she developed with Furtili is just so adorable.

In this season when you look at Santosh Mishra the PAPA of the family, you feel he has become old, and again you get the humor from him at the same time. This is a beautiful combination. Jameel Khan played this role with utmost honesty and we can see that.

Aman Mishra is an innocent character and his innocence is still the same. His confusion about his career choices, and the pressure he feels seem real and one can surely relate to this.

All the characters have done a great job, but this entire season will be dedicated to one person/character that is Annu Mishra. The kind of maturity this character has shown in this season is commendable and for that let’s congratulate the writer of the series, Durgesh Singh. Like any other youngster who is waiting for his first salary to come, Annu also had some amazing plans, as he got this job after a lot of struggle, but he happily kept them aside and paid the fees of his brother. When he is always fighting with his younger brother and complaining about him to his parents, in this season he kept his secrets and helped him to find out the way. When his father suffered a mild heart attack he became the backbone of the family and took care of his family like the “Ghar ka Mukhiya”. He became the mental and emotional support for his family in these crucial times at the same time he took care of the finances too.

The journey of Annu’s character teaches you a lot and you just can’t get over this beautiful feeling, which is hard to describe in words.

This web series is a treat to watch and it is so helpful to forget all the daily stress that comes along with our hectic lives.

Do not miss this web series, not even a single episode. It is something more than just a web show.
