Violence against Hindus is growing across India and the recent attacks on Ram Navami processions clearly demonstrate this fact. This threat seems to be growing due to demographic changes. However, what could be the ramification of these communal acts of violence by the radical Islamist forces? The challenge is huge and the role of foreign forces is clearly visible. The question arises why these forces (Foreign-funded NGOs, foreign media and foreign intelligence agencies) are trying to target Bharat (India).

How propaganda machineries targeting Bharat to dent its economic growth

The fact of the matter is that India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been striving its best to strengthen its economy despite the fact that the military might still play the most important role for superpowers, but a strong economy matters the most. Because even to modernize the defense, the economy must be the strongest. For the last few years, India has been the fastest-growing economy. For this, the government has maintained a peaceful environment for businesses. As a result of that, companies across the world are taking more interest in India’s growth story and making record investments. Now, India, which used to import military hardware, is now exporting to other countries. Very recently, India’s export achieved a milestone and for the first time, India's annual merchandise exports crossed a record $400 billion, surpassing the target set by the government.

Now coming to the point, it is always assumed that only terrorism is the biggest concern for India. However, fake narratives or propaganda is being used as machinery to destabilize the country. If we look carefully, there are two types of fake narratives being used, i.e. social propaganda and political propaganda. Social propaganda is being used for creating a rift (caste-based discrimination) in society, while political propaganda is being propagated to weaken the governance and the country. For social propaganda, these anti-India forces seem to be failing as people are rising beyond caste in electing their representatives. However, on the political propaganda front, these forces are still dominating as violence in the country is not possible without their hand.

Since anti-CAA violent protests started in 2019, these forces are trying to instigate people to destabilize the country. There is a possibility that these incidents of violence are being deliberately promoted to harm India’s growing influence in the world as the country could become the third-largest economy by the end of this decade. These forces know that by instigating violence in the country they can divert the attention of investors through their propaganda machineries.

Having said this, we must not forget that western media leave no stone unturned to defame India and the second wave of Chinese Virus (Covid-19) is an example of this when pictures of crematoriums were deliberately published in their publications and many of them also started saying ‘India is not a power as it has failed to handle the virus’. Of course, when western media was busy targeting Narendra Modi, thousands of the people in the US were losing their lives to the virus every day too. “The bodies of New York City coronavirus victims are still being stored in refrigerated trailers converted into makeshift morgues during the height of the pandemic one year ago,” reported CNN on May 7, 2021.  Therefore, it is evident that the western media has an obsession with India and they are still unable to digest India as a global power. Of course, it is insane to compare India’s handling of the virus with the US as the Narendra Modi government handled this virus far better than the Biden administration and also India’s population is five times more than the US. Notably, the death rate in India was less than that of the US. So, there is no comparison between these two countries. Also, from WHO to IMF, every organization praised India’s handling of the Chinese virus. However, these propaganda machines aren't able to digest anything good about India.

Even during the ‘2020 anti-Hindu Delhi riots’, western media projected Muslims as victims. However, the truth was just the opposite of what they were publishing and showing. Here it is worth mentioning that they also tried to create a rift between Hindus and Sikhs with the help of farmer protests (2020–2021).

The fact of the matter is that India is on the radar of these propaganda machines and they are trying their best to stop India’s economic growth as the rise of the country would end the dominance of the west. For this, they have been given the task to create unrest in India and project it as a destabilized country.
