Shah Rukh Khan & Taapsee Pannu’s film with Rajkumar Hirani titled Dunki to release December 2023
The film went on floor this April 2022, with the next schedule being shot extensively in Punjab.

Mumbai, April 20: The wait is finally over for a SRK and Rajkumar Hirani collab, as SRK just took to social media to announce his next (after Pathaan) with the PK director. Titled Dunki, this marks SRK and Hirani's first collaboration together.
Speaking about the film, Hirani said, “Through the course of my career, Shah Rukh Khan has always been on my wish list and after trying to collaborate several times in the past, we were finally destined to have ‘Dunki’ mark our partnership. The energy, charisma, humour and charm that he brings to a film is unparalleled and I look forward to bringing that magic to the big screen."
The film is scheduled for release on December 22, 2023.
Taapsee Pannu will also be joining the cast. Shah Rukh Khan announced the movie with a really quirky video featuring King Khan himself with Rajkumar Hirani. Sharing the video, SRK wrote, "Dear @hirani.rajkumar sir, Aap toh Mere Santa Claus nikle. Aap shuru karo main time pe pahunch jaunga. actually main toh set par hi rehne lagunga!Feeling humbled and excited to finally work with you.Bringing to you all #Dunki in cinemas on 22nd December 2023 @taapsee @gaurikhan @redchilliesent @rhfilmsofficial."
Dunki has been written by Rajkumar Hirani, Abhijaat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon, and has been produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan. The film went on floor this April 2022, with the next schedule being shot extensively in Punjab.
