BJP leaders celebrate party's 42nd foundation day, PM Modi addresses BJP workers

New Delhi, April 06: On the occasion of the Bhartiya Janta Party's 42 foundation day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi donned the new saffron cap, and addressed the BJP workers, members, and MPs virtually. "Every BJP worker is a representative of the country's dreams," PM Narendra Modi said addressing the party workers.

 

 

 

Addressing the workers, he further said praised BJP’s double-engine govt, saying "this year's foundation day has become very important due to 3 reasons. First, we are celebrating 75 years of independence; this is a major occasion for inspiration. Second, rapidly changing global situation; new opportunities are coming up for India continuously."

 

Third, BJP's double engine govt came to power once again in 4 states recently. After 3 decades a party has touched the mark of 100 members in Rajya Sabha, PM Modi added.

 

 

 

Apart from Modi, many other BJP leaders celebrate the 42nd foundation day.

 

Posting a series of tweets, Union Minister Amit Shah said the Journey of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been about national service while the party has worked for the fulfillment of the aspirations of the poor, farmers, downtrodden, and women who faced deprivation for seven decades.

 

 

"Salute to all the great leaders who made the BJP a banyan tree on the party's 42nd 'Sthapna Diwas (foundation day)'. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi and JP Nadda, the BJP is marching ahead with the welfare of the people and the progress of the nation. I wish all the party workers a Happy Foundation Day," Shah said.

 

 

He also garlanded the statues of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

 

Taking to Twitter, the party’s national president congratulated all the party workers, saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned the BJP into a giant banyan tree with his visionary thinking.

 

 

 

“Today, on the occasion of the foundation day, I want to congratulate all those workers, who made BJP a tree from a small plant by irrigating it with their blood and sweat. Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made that tree a giant banyan tree with his visionary thinking,” Nadda said.

 

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri unfurled the BJP flag at his residence.

 

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also unfurled the BJP’s flag at the party office in Lucknow on the party’s 42nd foundation day today.
