Divisional President of PFI arrested in RSS worker Sanjith's murder case

Bava is accused of taking part in the conspiracy to murder Sanjith and of facilitating a passage for the killers. It is being said that he had taken part in several meetings regarding the plot to kill Sanjith.

Palakkad, May 07: In the latest development in Kerala RSS leader S Sanjith's murder case, Kerala police have arrested another divisional president of Islamist organisation, Popular Front of India, in connection with the case. Darussalam Bawa is a 56-year-old retired Kerala government lower primary school teacher.

As per the local reports, he is the mastermind behind the Sanjith murder case. He had been in hiding for the past five months at various locations in Palakkad, Kozhikode, and Malappuram. After a tip-off, the police arrested him near the Thrissur KSRTC bus stand.

Bava's is the 12th arrest registered in the case. While ten others remain in custody, one was let off on bail. Eight people are yet to be arrested in the case.
 
It should be reminded that S Sanjith was hacked to death by Popular Front activists on the morning of November 15. Sanjith, who was traveling with his wife on a bike, was hacked to death by a mob that came in a car.
