Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath lays foundation of Ayodhya Shri Ram Mandir Garbhagriha

Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and the saints and Mahants of 90 maths and temples associated with Ram Mandir movement were present at the ceremony.

Lucknow, Jun 1: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has laid the foundation at Ayodhya Shri Ram Janmabhoomi for the Garbha Griha of the Ram Mandir, today (Jun 1). He arrived at the holy city early, in the morning.

CM Yogi Adityanath participated in the 'Shilapujan' ceremony for the construction of the sanctum sanctorum. He is also scheduled to inaugurate the Shri Ramlalla Sadan, a dravidian style temple at the site in Ayodhya. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and the saints and Mahants of 90 maths and temples associated with Ram Mandir movement were present at the ceremony.
 
 
 
 
 
Presently, recitation of Ramarcha, Durga Saptashati, Rudrabhishek, Ram Raksha Stotra, Vishnu Sahasranama, Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand is being practiced before theconstruction of the Garbha griha begins. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone, by palcing the first carved stone of the garbha griha.
 
 
According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, in charge of the Ram Mandir, the sanctum sanctorum is expected to be completed by Dec, 2023. On Aug 5 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone for the construction of Shri Ram Mandir, Ayodhya and ever since the construction work has been proceeding at a faster pace.
