Nupur Sharma's reaction to demeaning of Hindu Gods was justified: Dutch MP stands in support

New Delhi, June 15: Dutch MP Geert Wilders, who supported former BJP leader Nupur Sharma after the uproar caused over her alleged remarks against Prophet Mohammed, said that her 'reaction to someone demeaning Hindu Gods was totally justified.'

Earlier, in a series of tweets , he said he received death threats for extending support to Nupur Sharma. "I receive many death threats now from Muslims who want to kill me for supporting Nupur Sharma who spoke the truth and nothing but the truth about Muhammad and Aisha. My message to them is: go to hell. You have no morals. We stand for the truth. We stand for freedom," he tweeted. 
 
 
The Dutch MP also reacted to FIRs and summons by Bhiwandi and Mumbai police against the suspended BJP leader and stressed that 'she did nothing wrong.'

"'The police registered an FIR on charges of hurting religious feelings, promoting enmity and causing public mischief against Sharma.' This is outrageous. She did nothing wrong. If I can help her in any possible way, I will," Geert tweeted.

Sharma was suspended by BJP after her alleged remarks on Prophet Mohammed during a TV debate incited violence and invited negative reactions from the international community.

Multiple FIRs have been registered against Nupur Sharma over the same in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bhiwandi police station.
