Ex-cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has a perfect reply to "liberals" question over Agnipath scheme violence

New Delhi, June 18: The so-called liberals, who have been silent over the death, blasphemy, and rape threats against Nupur Sharma, have now been raising "concerns" about the protests taking place due to the Agnipath scheme.

  

 

They have called out former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad to get an answer about ongoing protests in Bihar, Telangana, and parts of Uttar Pradesh with a section of people setting trains on fire. Purposely, they have asked him to comment on it in order to trigger him. However, Prasad has the perfect reply for these Islamists including Sahil Razvii, Rana Ayyub and Darab Farooqui.

 

 

 

 

In order to silence them, he subtly said that creating violence in name of protests and setting public property on fire is no way to protest. He tweeted, "Burning trains & buses is no way to protest. If you have issues, demonstrate peacefully. Violence is absolutely not done & severe action must be taken against everyone indulging in such acts."

 

 

Further, he also said, "Those who are maintaining silence over Nupur Sharma incident where she is getting death threats, should also speak up."

 

Prasad is not part of any political party, however, has come forward to speak against the atrocities happening over Nupur Sharma who made controversial marks on Prophet Mohammad.

 

 

He had shared an image of an effigy of Sharma hanging outside Belagavi mosque in Karnataka. He had tweeted, "This is an effigy of Nupur Sharma hanging in Karnataka. Simply cannot believe that this is 21st century, India. I would urge everyone to leave politics aside and let sanity prevail. This is just too much."

 

Further, he said, "The whataboutery to this tweet is simply unbelievable. News channels along with justifiers and people indulging in whataboutery are significant contributors to the pitiful situation. This is not just an effigy By the way,but a threat to more than one person in no uncertain terms."
