After several incidents when prominent Congress party leaders were caught on camera beating up cops and holding their collars, now another Congress party leader has been caught on camera spitting at the security personnel during a protest in the national capital.
Netta D'Souza is the name of the congress leader who was caught spitting on cops. She is the President of the All India Mahila Congress. D'Souza, along with other Congress leaders, workers, and supporters, was protesting in Delhi when police tried to maintain law and order.
In the short clip, the Congress leader was seen spitting at the security personnel from inside a bus, when the Congress workers were detained by the Delhi Police.
"One of the protestors namely Netta D'Souza, All India Mahila Congress President, obstructed and assaulted the police personnel on duty and spitted over them for which a criminal case is being registered under appropriate sections of the law," Special Commissioner of Police, Law and Order Division, Sagar Preet Hooda.
Reacting to D'Sourza's act, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Ponnawalla said, "Shameful & Disgusting. After beating up cops in Assam, and holding their collars in Hyderabad now Mahila Congress President Netta Dsouza spits at cops & women security personnel merely because Rahul is being questioned by ED for corruption. Will Sonia, Priyanka & Rahul act on her?"
