Tell me you are the ’90s / 2000s kid without telling me you are a ’90s kid. I will go first. I want the show M.A.D, Lizzy Maccgure, and Small Wonder back again on TV. And want to spend my entire afternoon watching these shows while eating maggie and sipping Rasna. Do you feel me? I know you will. The ’90s was the best era in all terms. The Music, the advertising industry, the television shows, the cartoons, the singers, Indipops everything was at its best. It was kind of a golden era. And now vehicle watching today’s shows on Netflix I do miss my 90s summer afternoons which continued to the 2000s as well.

90s shows

So today I’ll take you down memory lane and will talk about those 5 iconic shows, that you would want to watch again. So shall we begin?

1. The Adventures of Gummy Bears: Who else used to watch this amazing show? It was first shown from 1985 - to 1991 but we saw a repeat version of it dubbed in Hindi on Disney. I still want to know how did those bouncy bears made their gummy juice and got all the necessary energy? The story, the presentation everything was on point. Do you remember the theme song of this iconic show?

MAD

2. Small Wonder: Do you remember Vickey and Jimmy? And Harriet? Who can forget those 3? It was my favorite show back then. Then the Indian version of it, Karishma ka Karishma came, but it wasn’t worth trust me. The OG is OG. So Vickey was a robot and became a loving part of the family, This show has 96 episodes and all are available on Youtube. I loved the Hindi version of it. Who can forget the tear fountain coming from Vickey’s eyes?

MAD

3. MAD: Another iconic show that is with us, like a beautiful memory. We all loved ROB. Especially when he made those big pictures from small things. MAD was an educational show for kids and the full form is a Music, Art, and Dance show. We all lived our childhood through this show when POGO has so many amazing shows other than Chota Bheem. MAD was one of the favorites because of its, unique concept and presentation. You could learn Art, crafts and Music and Dance. It was first aired on TV in 2005 and it had 7 seasons till 2010. Those 5 beautiful years.

4. Lizzy McGuire: It was first aired in 2001. A story about a girl Lizzy and her 2 friends Miranda and Gordo and their school life. All the teenagers loved the show. Though the show was built on American school background, however, it was much loved by the Indian audience, especially the teenagers. Ahh, I wish those days come back again.

MAD

5. Suite Life of Zack and Cody: Again another American show. But those dubbed American shows were much loved here in India. Because you got to see those shows in your own language. This was a story about twins Zack and Cody, whose mother was working in a hotel and it showed their life in that hotel. All characters were so appreciated. The Indian depiction was also made by the name “The Suite Life of Karan and Kabir but it was not much appreciated. As I said OG is OG.

MAD

In the 2000 Era Disney had some amazing shows running. Apart From Lizzy (Hillary Duff was the lead) and Suite Life of Zack and Cody, there was Phill of the future, That’s So Raven (Where raven could see the future) Wizards of Waverly Place (which has Selena Gomez as a lead actress), Hannah Montana (Which has Miley Cyrus as a lead). It was a Rich Content Era.

Now you don’t find such shows. And we have to accept apart from our Indian Shows, people were fans of these iconic American shows.
