Today India made history when a tribal woman became the President of India. And the entire nation was feeling proud. When President Draupadi Murmu was swearing in, everyone was waiting for her speech after that. And what she said, after becoming the President of India, made all of us believe in Hard work, Honesty, Dedication, and being true to yourself and your nation.

1. Anyone in India can Dream Big: She said in her speech that my nomination for this position proves that in India anyone is it man or woman, poor or rich, tribal or any person can dream big and achieve all their dreams, it is possible in India, it is possible only in India. She shared, “I started my life journey from a small tribal village in Odisha. From the background I come from, it was like a dream for me to get elementary education. But despite many obstacles, my resolve remained strong and I became the first daughter of my village to go to college.”
 
 
 
 
 

2. Tribals are the future of India, protector of our Sanskriti: Tribbles are the people who are closest to nature. They are the ones who have protected our nature, our Sanskriti for ages. And still, they are doing it. Draupadi Murmu’s speech the way she talked about her background and how she has reached here, shows us that these are the people who are the future of our nation protector of our Sanskriti.
 
 


3. Daughters of India can do anything: She said in her speech that A daughter who is born in a poor family, who is born in a remote tribal area can reach here on the highest constitutional post of India. She proved that the daughters of India can do anything.

A lady always thinks about women and youth first: In her speech, she said, “In this position, The women and youth of our nation will be my priority and I will always work for their benefit.” She also said, “I have closely observed the enthusiasm and self-confidence of the youth of the country. All of us revered Atal Ji used to say that when the youth of the country move forward, they not only make their own destiny but also make the fate of the country. Today we are seeing it come true.”She proved that it is her woman's power and that her priority is the women and youth of our nation.
 
 
5. We should never forget the freedom struggle of our freedom fighters: She shared, “I am the first Indian President who was born in Independent India. Our freedom struggle was a continuous stream of those struggles and sacrifices which had watered so many ideas and possibilities for an independent India. I’ll never forget their struggle and will always work to fulfilling their expectations from this free India. She reminded us that our patriotism should not be limited to 15th august or 26th January, we should keep this feeling in our hearts forever.
 
 
 


Today’s speech was an eye-opener. And she showed that in India the a tribal common lady can reach the highest position. If she can do so can you. Just work hard and be honest with yourself and your nation.
