While it is being said that Khotkar claimed that will never leave the Shiv Sena and join the Shinde group, this meeting has definitely sparked discussions.

Only 2 days ago, Khotkar said that he will stay in Shiv Sena for the rest of his life. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray entrusted Khotkar with responsibility of deputy leader. However, today, Khotkar visited New Delhi to meet the Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde.

Khotkar said, “The fact that I and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde have met. I have come to Delhi for my personal work. Eknath Shinde came from President Draupadi Murmu's swearing-in ceremony and we met by chance. After the meeting, there was a discussion. However, it should not be interpreted differently. I have not changed my mind about joining the Shinde group."

Interestingly, after the rebellion in Shiv Sena, the same Arjun Khotkar had criticized the rebels as rats.

During this visit, Shinde is believed to have reconciled the two leaders of Marathwada, Arjun Khotkar and Raosaheb Danve as there was a conflict between Khotkar and Danve during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

In this background, it is reported that the Chief Minister has made reconciliation the two leaders.
