Kerala police arrests actor Shreejit Ravi for exposing himself in front of 2 minor girls in public park

Acting upon the complaint lodged against him, Kerala police arrested a notorious actor Shreejit Ravi under section 11 of the POCSO Act for allegedly exhibiting nudity in front of two minor girls in public. The police arrested him on basis of the CCTV footage. The incident took place in a park in the Ayyanthole area of Thrissur.

 

 

On 4 July, Shreejit Ravi arrived at the SN park in Thrissur. As the two minor girls walked toward him near the car, Shreejit got out and allegedly exhibited his genitals to the minor girls. After the incident, the scared girl narrated the whole story to their parents, who then lodged an official complaint at Thrissur police station.

 

In the complaint, the girls mentioned that the man whom they couldn't identify had arrived in the black car. During the investigative police checked the CCTV footage and traced the car number to know that the car belonged to actor Shreejit Ravi. The girls also recognized him in the CCTV footage. Following this, the police arrested him under POCSO Act.

 

Notably, this is not the first time that the actor has been booked for an obscene act. In 2016, police arrested him for exposing his genitals to a school girl in public. Later, he was granted bail. However, the case did not come into the limelight again.
