Kerala police arrest Madrasa teacher under POCSO act for sexually assaulting minor student

Palakkad, August 23: Form several months, the incident related to the sexual assault done in Madarsa has started to came to light from Kerala. In the latest incident, Kerala police arrested a Madrasa teacher for sexually assaulting a minor boy.
The Chalissery police arrested him from Thirumitakod, Palakkad, Kerala. The accused has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused person has been identified as Irshad Ali. Irshad is a native of Nilgirikota, Tamil Nadu. The report suggests that he was allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy from Madarsa.
As per the local media house, the incident came to light after the family of the victim saw the abnormality in the child's behavior. Following this, when they asked him about the same, the victim told them about the crime. Later, the child's family lodged a complaint with the police.
As per the police, another Madrasa teacher is involved in the crime. Police have also started a search operation to nab the accused.
