After the Supreme Court’s order, the chief minister investigated the case thoroughly.

In September 2021, on the orders of CM Yogi, a four-member committee was constituted under the chairmanship of the Commissioner of Infrastructure and Industrial Development. Based on the report of the inquiry committee, action was taken against 26 officers/employees involved in the case, directors of Supertech Limited, and their architects. An FIR was lodged by the Noida Authority in Vigilance Establishment, Lucknow, in October 2021, against the involved officer of the authority, the Director of Supertech Limited, and the architect in the same case. Along with this, a case was filed by the authority in the district court, Gautam Buddh Nagar, for prosecution proceedings against the authorized personnel and Supertech Ltd. While four officers involved in the case have been suspended, who were working in different authorities, disciplinary action will now be initiated against them by the government. Yogi Adityanath on Saturday reviewed the demolition preparation and gave instructions to strictly comply with the safety standards in the process of demolition of the Supertech Twin Towers.

While reviewing the preparations, the chief minister said that during the entire process of demolition of the tower, the safety of the people living in the adjoining residential complex should be ensured at all costs, and environmental standards should be taken care of.
