This Independence day, take a pledge to be financially independent…!

We are living in the 21st century, and today also there are many people who are facing financial dependency, especially ladies and girls. And this blog/article is especially for them. Recently I was talking to a friend who told me the story of a girl, who committed suicide, because of the financial dependency she had on her husband, and after he cheated on her, she was left with nothing, but a lot of debt and 2 little kids. She could have found out some way, however, she decided to end her life and left her children alone in this cruel world.

This is not one story, we keep on hearing such stories of domestic violence, husband cheating, and whatnot, and in such situations, if victims are financially independent, they have the freedom to take some decisions to make their life better. Not just because of the domestic violence or negative cases, but in general, it is high time now for every girl to just think about Kitchen and Kids. You all have a life beyond that which you can be proud of. You also can and should take the taste of financial freedom. How it feels to fulfill the wishes of your loved ones, through your hard-earned money. How does it feel when you buy a home for yourself and your family on your own? It does feel special right?

Financial Independence and Confidence:

Financial Independence increases confidence. Mostly in Indian households, women don’t have any say (Time is changing, still this scenario is still present in our society). They don’t have an opinion and a large part of it, because they are somewhere dependent on the earning person of the house which is usually the men in the house. However, this scene is changing in our generation and for the next generation as well. However, seeing girls of 28-29 age who are because for some or other reason dependent financially on either their partners or their fathers is something that breaks my heart.

You can choose unconventional ways for being financially independent:

Nowadays there is N number of options for you to start earning money on your own and make it big. You can get a 9-5 job through your educational qualification, or you can even start a Youtube channel according to your talent and make it big, you can learn a new skill set and start a side hustle along with managing your home and kids. If you are good at Yog, you can do a certification and become a Yog Instructor. You can become a social media manager, content writer, graphic designer, Virtual Assistant, Podcast editor, Vido Editor, Online Tutor, Online Dance Trainer, Fitness Coach, and whatnot.

In today’s era, you don’t need to stick to one option. You can explore it with time and make it big with your skillset.

So this Independence day, every girl must take a pledge and decide that she will start building her financial Independence and achieve it soon.
