Gundagiri under Bharat Jodo Yatra! Congress threatens vegetable shop owners to fund campaign

Amid the ongoing Congress Party's "Bharat Jodo Yatra" campaign, the real face of the grand old party's workers, who always have been threatening common people for their own party's interest, has come to the fore on social media.
 
A video has been going viral on social media, where congress workers are seen threatening a vegetable vendor after he refused to give a donation to the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

As per the report circulating on social media, the incident took place on Thursday evening, when a vegetable vendor, named S Fawaz refused to pay a Rs 2000 donation for the Bharat Jodo Yatra, as he could only contribute 500 Rupees.
 
Irked by that, the Congress workers, vandalised his shop and threatened him. They threw vegetables and damaged weighing machines. Reports suggest that Youth Congress state general Secretary H Aneesh Khan is also one of five people who threaten vendors.
 
 
 
He said, "A group of Congress workers reached the shop and asked for donations for the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. I gave Rs 500 but they demanded Rs 2,000. They damaged weighing machines, and threw away vegetables." The shop owner S Fawaz has filed a complaint with the Kunnikod police.
 
Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is leading the yatra which started on September 7 in Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. It will travel through 12 states, covering 3,750 km, and culminate in Kashmir after 150 days. After a day-long break on Thursday, the party resumed ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kollam on Friday morning.
