For unreserved, the two accused killed Kanhaiya Lal by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon on June 28. The Udaipur police arrested both accused a few hours after the incident.

Udaipur, September 17: Taking the Kanhaiya Lal murder case investigation further, the National Investigation Agency team has reached the crime scene in Rajasthan's Udaipur and verified the spot and escape route.

The main accused in the case 'Riyaz Attari and Mohammad Ghaus' were with the team when it verified the area. As per the private media reports, the NIA team reached Udaipur around 10.30 pm on Friday with the two accused and verified the escape route used by them.
 
Notable the accused were not taken to the shop where they executed the murder. While the NIA investigated the area, Attari and Ghaus were kept at Bhupalpura police station amid tight security. However, a ruckus broke out at the station after locals came to know about the accused's presence.
 
 
 
During the investigation, the escape route was seen and the accused were verified on the basis of their statement.
