Telangana police arrest 2 Muslim boys for sexually assaulting a minor girl

Hyderabad, September 17: In a shocking development, Telagana's Dabeerpura police have arrested 2 Muslim boys for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl after drugging her in a Hotel room. As per the reports, the Police imposed Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences Bill (POCSO), 2011 against them.

The crime took place on Thursday. According to police sources, the victim and the accused knew each other since they were from the same area. The accused first took the victim to a hotel, where they drugged her and raped them. Police said that they sexually assaulted the girl for days.
 
 
 
The matter come to light after the victim's parents lodged a complaint after their daughter went missing on Monday. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case of kidnapping under Section 363 of the IPC and started investigating. During the investigation, the matter finally come to light.
 
According to circle Inspector Koteeswara Rao, Dabeerpura police station, “Based on the complaint given by the parents and the girl’s statement, we have registered a case. She has been sent for a medical examination. Further investigation into the case is ongoing. Two of the accused have been arrested.”
