RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat launches the book 'Connecting with the Mahabharata’

New Delhi, Sept 20: RSS Sarsangchalak (Chief) Mohan Bhagwat launched the book "Connecting with the Mahabharata", in Delhi, on Monday. The book is authored by Neera Mishra and Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Rajesh Lal, son of the late B.B. Lal, and published by Garuda Prakashan.

 

The book is dedicated to B.B. Lal, who carried out excavations at Hastinapur, followed by Indraprastha in 1952-53, as he worked to discover the historicity of the epic Mahabharata.

 

Speaking at the launch of the book, RSS chief said, "There is description of war in Mahabharata but it is a Jeevan Vidya (life lesson). It is not about one person, but gives details about how people need to coexist with nature….and Ramayan tells us how a person ought to be and how to navigate the world."
