Malala Yousafzai = Hypocrisy, Proved!

Malala is known for their selectivity in condemning human rights abuses and it was the same in the case of Iran protests that erupted due to compulsion of hijab

Since the brutal killing of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini after her arrest on September 13, public anger has grown in the country as demonstrations were held across Tehran. The reason - Amini was beaten up by morality police for not wearing a hijab. Yes, the same hijab which was doing rounds in India between February and March. But in Iran, the protests were against the compulsion to wear a hijab.

Amid this chaos, one name came up when the controversy of hijab erupted in India as well as it is now in Iran i.e. Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai. She was one of the people who had raised her so-called "concern" to the hijab controversy in Karnataka, saying "refusing to let girls go to school in their hijabs is horrifying" and "Indian leaders must stop the marginalization of Muslim women."

But when it comes to the situation in Iran, be it about the death of Mahsa Amini, or clashes between security forces and protestors where people were killed, she did not utter a word. The 24-year-old even had a chance to speak about it in New York when she addressed a session at UNGA. Yes, she spoke about it but through Instagram stories.

Reacting to this, a Pakistani celebrity Mathira has called out the so-called Pakistani who does not even live in Pakistan following her appearance at the UNGA in the USA. She slammed the activist for not visiting the flood-affected areas in Pakistan yet representing Pakistan at an international forum.
"Malala only gets paid to take pictures with international artists and talks about Pakistan when she does not even live in Pakistan," she wrote on her Instagram Story while sharing a picture of Malala and Priyanka. "She didn’t even manage to visit Pakistan when half of Pakistan was drowning and then talks about the struggle in these fancy meets and greet." She concluded her stance with, "Weird stuff, this girl is such a hypocrite".
It was not only the Pakistani celebrity, it was the netizens who were unhappy with her hypocrisy towards HIJAB.

Do you know what is funny, incidentally, the country that awarded Malala the Nobel Peace Prize has already banned burqa and niqab in schools and colleges? She is yet to criticize Norway for doing that!

She has been among the first ones to speak about the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the Hijab controversy, and everything that is happening across India but she will not speak about the atrocities against Hindus in UK, the Taliban taking over Afghanistan, etc.

Henceforth, Malala is known for their selectivity in condemning human rights abuses. Her own country Pakistan has harbored terrorism while killing its own citizens including Pashtuns, natives of Balochistan, and Sindh. And top of that, she has been silent on the deadliest Pakistan floods.

We, as people of this society, should be very clear about who to make a hero!
