Heinous crimes continue in Dumka: Tribal boy's body found hanging from tree in the Jharkhand's district

Dumka, Sept 8: With heinous crimes taking place continuously, the body of a 17-year-old tribal boy was found hanging from a tree in Jharkhand's Dumka district on Wednesday. The incident happened at a village in the Dumka town police station area. Notably, Dumka is a long-held stronghold of Hemant Soren and his family.
The boy, a class 10 student, lived in a rented house in the village with his grandmother and siblings, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Noor Mustafa Ansari said. It is being investigated whether he died by suicide or he was killed, he said.
However, according to the family members, it is murder. He had left the house on Wednesday morning after having breakfast. After a long time when he did not return home, the family went out to find him. The family reached the place where he often used to sit with his friends.
When the family reached that place, everyone was stunned to see the student hanging from a tree. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and removed the body of the student from the tree and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem.
Earlier, a 14-year-old tribal girl was raped and hanged from a tree by Arman Ansari. The girl was sexually exploited by a man on the pretext of marriage and was raped, killed, and hanged from the tree in Dumka. Another minor girl was set ablaze in Dumka by one Shahrukh on August 23. The girl had succumbed to her injuries on August 28.
