Rakhi Sawant accepts Islam, adds Fatima to her name as she gets married to Adil Khan Durrani

Controversial figure Rakhi Sawant has once again managed to grab headlines. She got married to her long-time beau Adil Khan Durrani in a low-key court wedding. News of the couple’s marriage began to spread quickly after photos from their private wedding ceremony were widely shared on social media on January 11th.

Her marriage or Nikah pics and videos has been going viral all over the internet much to the shock of everyone. What is more shocking is that there have been reports that Rakhi Sawant has accepted Islam and added Fatima to her name.

Speaking about the same, Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen commented that "even Rakhi Sawant had to convert to Islam because she married a man who happened to be a Muslim." Taslima, known for her staunch criticism of Islam, said Islam must evolve and accept critical scrutiny, free speech, women's equality, non-Muslim's rights etc. "Otherwise it will have no place in modern society," the author wrote in her comment on Rakhi Sawant's purported wedding.

While Adil has denied the marriage, the actress is clueless about the reason why Adil is denying their marriage. And now, it has come to light from the Nikah certificate that's going viral that Rakhi has changed her name.

The couple got hitched as per Islamic rituals and a picture of their ‘Nikah Nama’ (wedding certificate) is surfacing on social media. As per the certificate, Rakhi and Adil’s private nikah took place on May 29, 2022. She has now changed her name to ‘Rakhi Sawant Fatima’.

The Bigg Boss fame figure also shared a photo with her husband Adil on Instagram. She confirmed that they both got married in May. She wrote, “Finally, I’m so happy I am revealing my marriage after seven months#rakhisawant.”
