Mumbai, January 06: In a major development, the Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, who is on his visit to Mumbai, met the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani and had a fruitful conversation with him.
During the meeting, they both held discussed investment in the state. It should be noted that Reliance group has proposed investments in 5G technology across the state and the use of artificial intelligence to better health services in rural UP.
Earlier in the day, CM Yogi pitched his state as a safe investment destination and also interacted with prominent Bollywood personalities and industrialists during his visit to Mumbai, where Maharashtra's Opposition parties targeted him over his roadshow.
Adityanath assured industrialists of a strong law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, devoid of fear and free of land mafia. The CM is aimed at attracting an investment of ₹17 lakh crore to make Uttar Pradesh a $ 1 trillion economy in the next five years.
"You must have seen that before 2017, there used to be riots every other day, now the law and situation in the state is very strong. We formed an anti-land mafia task force and vacated over 64,000-hectare land from their clutches," the Chief Minister said.
The UP government has held road shows in 16 countries and planned eight more in Indian cities ahead of the Global Investment Summit 2023 to be held in Lucknow from February 10 to 13.
