Islamabad, Dec 22: In a major setback to Pakistani-based terrorists, Haji Ulmar Gul, one of the financiers of Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, was murdered by unknown gunmen. He was shot dead along with two of his associates in Tank, Pakistan.
Haji Ulmar Gul used to collect heavy taxes from poor Pakistanis and used the money for terror activities of Lashkar-e-Taiba. His killing is a big loss for terror group as it is a direct hit to their financial condition.
Recently, Habibullah Khan alias Bhola Khan, a notorious terrorist and recruiter associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), was killed by unknown gunmen opened fire in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Tank.
This marks another in a series of targeted killings, with more than 20 high-profile terrorists meeting a similar fate in Pakistan over the past few months.

Recently, Sajid Mir, the key conspirator of Mumbai 26/11 attacks was poisoned inside Pakistan's jail.
In response to the spate of targeted killings in Pakistan, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) emphasized that individuals wanted by Indian authorities should be extradited to face the legal system in India.
MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi stated, "Those who are wanted in India to face justice for criminal and terrorist activities, we would like them to come to India and face our legal system, but I cannot comment on developments that are taking place in Pakistan."
