Is It Okay to Remember Godhra Massacre: BBC Way?

Bharat will be shamed again and again using the so-called ‘Post Godhra riot of 2002’. The first correction that is needed is that it was not ‘Post Godhra riot of 2002’, it was ‘Hindu Retaliation of 2002’. ‘Hindu Retaliation of 2002’ took place after the burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive, because government machinery had failed to stop the pre-planned move by the Muslims of Godhra.

First thing first, putting a censorship on the BBC documentary ‘India: The Modi Question’ by the government was a wrong move. No, I am not against banning movies but this time it was wrong. Yes, a ban was needed but not on one documentary but on BBC, the channel itself. The government failed strategically. Anyway, no government takes all correct decision. It is not possible. And anyway, BBC documentary is a non-issue.

But Bharat will be shamed again and again using the so-called ‘Post Godhra riot of 2002’. The first correction that is needed is that it was not ‘Post Godhra riot of 2002’, it was ‘Hindu Retaliation of 2002’. ‘Hindu Retaliation of 2002’ took place after the burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive, because government machinery had failed to stop the pre-planned move by the some Muslims of Godhra.

The ‘burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive’ and ‘Hindu Retaliation of 2002’ needs a proper closer. But before proceeding further, it is important to understand the genesis of the ‘Hindu Retaliation of 2002’.

Godhra Kand Riots 2002 BBC Documentary

Hindu Retaliation of 2002 started when kids (10), women (27), old, and young men, in total 59 Hindu pilgrims were burnt alive in a planned manner in the S-6 coach of Sabarmati Express at 7.43 am or around it. These pilgrims were returning from Ayodhya after performing Purnahuti Maha Yagna. Some Muslims had kept the petrol-soaked rags ready for use much before the train had arrived at Godhra. Just visualize what would have gone inside the coach S-6. Just sit calmly, take a deep breath, close your eyes, and visualize.

Once Hindus inside would have realized that the coach is locked from the outside and they cannot go out panic would have set in. Imagine the panic. Then they would have noticed the fire and smoke, adding to the panic. Frantically they would have tried to open the door. If they would have opened the window burning rags would have been thrown in. They would have screamed, shouted. 59 kids, women, and men shouting, and screaming inside a coach which is on fire and is getting filled with smoke.

They would have tried to stop the fire with cloths, then huddling in places where there is no fire while still screaming. Then they would have tried to save the kids and mothers. Then some part of their body would have caught fire. They would have tried to extinguish that then by that time another part of body would have caught fire. Smoke would be choaking them and screams would have turned into painful cries. A coach full of cries of kids, women, men along with smoke and fire. Full of smell of burning flesh, raw flesh.

How will it feel to be burnt alive? I do not know. But my guess is that first the skin will burn, followed by the muscles and then the bones. Surely, no one will survive by the time the bones start burning. At some point, the water in the body will boil and evaporate, after all the human body is made of 70% water. The body will shrink as the water evaporates. However, these are just chemical reactions.

Emotionally, the mother and father will try to save the kids, kids will wonder why their parents cannot save them. Mothers would have looked in the eye of the father of their kid, asking questions you cannot even save your kid, while giving assurance to the kids that all will be well, knowing fully well that they all are going to die a gruesome death by being burnt alive. The man will see his wife and kids burning to death in front of him and he not being able to do anything.

Physically, When the fire touches the individual, he or she will try to save himself, but will fail and at some point of time will fall on the ground. will cry in unimaginable pain. I do not know whether there will be any sound left in his voice? Will he feel helpless? What will be his thoughts? Will he think about his family, the near and the dear ones? His dreams, his aspirations? Will someone remember him, his death, or his pain? Will someone get him the justice after he or she has been burnt alive?

Most importantly they would have also wondered at some point in time that they are being burnt alive with their family by Muslims for being Hindu in Bharat which was partitioned to make only Muslim nations; that too when they are returning after performing pooja.

Open your eyes, if you are still secular then place your palm on top of the flame of a cigarette lighter or a candle or gas burner and repeat ten times, I am Secular, I am Secular, I am Secular…. If you remove your hands before repeating twenty times ‘I am secular’ and you are still secular then in reality you are a coward.

It is important to note that the railway staff, railway police, local police and others comprising mostly Hindus must have watched it not doing anything. Even if someone would have called the Fire Brigade, it would not have been allowed to reach the coach.

In retaliation when Hindus of Gujarat stood up, at least 254 more Hindus died. Mostly in the firing by the Gujarat police, the same police which had witnessed silently the pre-planned burning of 59 Hindus which comprised 10 kids, 27 women’s and in total 59 Hindus.

The Muslims who were not killed in the riots became the poster boy of riots and their financial, medical update is atleast shared by media once every year from last two decades. But names and pictures of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus who were burnt alive is never shared. How many of you know the name of any of those 59 Hindus and how many of you recall the picture of a Muslim with folded hands who escape the riots unhurt.

It must be mentioned about the justice given to those 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus who were burnt alive. Not a single person who participated in planning and burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus who were burnt alive was given capital punishment. Not even one of them was hanged.

Remember any Hindu who condemns retaliation after burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive will also cherish if you and you're family were burnt alive in the most gruesome manner. Beware of him or her. Also, remember every political party except BJP, has since 2002 abused Hindus for standing up for 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus who were burnt alive. Never forget never forgive.

Coming back to the closure. For closure of the retaliation in 2002 after burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive, government of India needs to do following two things:

1. Remove S 6 coach i.e., the coach number 6’ from all the trains pan India. It should work as a reminder to citizens of the country about the burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive every time they board a train.

2. Make a museum in Godhra. Display the burnt coach, and have films depicting how 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus would have burnt alive inside the coach. Today’s technology will enable to show step by step burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus are alive. Have details of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive like their picture, hobby, likes and dislikes, profile, and comments about them from near and dear one. The lies built around the Godhra burning and Hindu retaliation thereafter should be displayed and told to the world.

This incident happened on the railway property and hence railway is bound to build a memorial for the 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus who were burnt alive. Railway accidents take place all around the word every year, but burning of 10 kids, and 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive is unheard. There is a holocaust museum, in India 14th August is remembered as partition horror day, on the similar line burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus, alive; needs to be immortalised.

This is an excellent year for government of India to pay tribute to 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus who were burnt alive in Coach S 6 of Sabarmati express and bring a closure to the issue. 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus were burnt alive on 27 February, which is round the corner. Ministry of railways should start the construction of the Museum on 27 February and finish it in next 6 months. After that, every participant in G 20 from abroad should be taken to the museum for a visit. The world should be told about the burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive by some Muslims of India and their supporters in India and in the world.

Honorable Prime Minister of India realizes that running away is not the solution. He called out the bluff of nuclear-armed Pakis by Balakot surgical strike. He needs to call out the bluff of shaming India in the name of retaliation against Hindus after 10 kids, and 27 women, in total 59 Hindus was burnt alive.

Honourable Prime Minister can look at his friend President Emmanuel Macron. In France, Samuel Paty, the teacher was beheaded by a Chechen teenager who wanted to avenge his use of cartoons of Prophet Mohammad during a class on freedom of expression. In the memory of Samuel Paty, the Cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad were projected onto government buildings in France. After that, cartoons are no more a taboo. A museum on burning of 10 kids, 27 women, in total 59 Hindus alive, and retaliation of Hindus after that will bring closure to the issue. And taking the delegates of G20 to visit the museum will shut the issue globally once for all.

The above mentioned two steps will be like a true boxer, taking on the BBC documentary on the chin and giving back an uppercut punch followed by a cross punch leading to a knockout.
